Vaughn Smith
Bio: Vaughn Smith has been infusing youth voice and civic learning into his Environmental Science classes at Muir Middle School in Milford, MI, for 15 years. He has been involved in the GM GREEN program for the past 5 years and thoroughly enjoys the dynamic collaboration between GM employees, community partners and students.
He views the GM GREEN program as the essence of modern scientific inquiry education. Vaughn says, "GM GREEN empowers young minds by providing an opportunity for students to engage with local environmental issues and experience firsthand that SCIENCE IS REAL!"
